Our inner world is made-up of many aspects of ourselves, IFS calls “parts”.

Using IFS techniques, our authentic Self can emerge with the qualities of Calm, Connectedness, Compassion, Clarity, Curiosity, Creativity, Courage, and Confidence.

Our authentic Self is healing to all aspects of ourselves helping to release painful emotions and transform ineffective habits or behavior.

Mindfulness meditation is a practice of focused attention on our inner world with nonjudgmental kind awareness in the present moment.

With present moment awareness, we can observe our thoughts and emotions rather than being in the trance of them.

Self leadership is when our authentic Self leads our internal system of parts. This happens when our Self builds trusting relationships with our parts and the parts come to know it is safe to relax and step aside. Our authentic Self’s qualities can then come forward and interact inwardly with parts and outwardly with the world in a genuinely curious, calm, open-hearted, and compassionate way.
